What can I say? I'm new here. So probably I'll post random (and old) blog entries I made that were my favorites. :D

May 30, 2008 - One of the best nights of my life.

Okay, so last night was The Click Five's "Modern Minds and Great Times World Tour 2008" in Manila. Obviously, I had the most amazing night of my life. But behind "the most amazing night of my life", there's a story.

So I bought tickets for my sister, myself and for Ciara. The girl told us that the seats we got were in the middle so that's why I agreed to that. Only to find out that at when we got to where we were supposed to sit, this guy guided us to the side, Section 103 Row H seats 1,2 and 3. At first, we were kinda puzzled why we were seated at the side so we asked this guy why we were there and not in the middle. He explained that if we wanted to have seats that were in the middle, we should've picked section 101. So, yeah :| We were stuck in front of Ethan.

The show started at 8:30 (I think, cause I wasn't really looking at the time). Lala was the first one and she performed 3 songs. The second one was Rivermaya and I think they performed 4 songs..I'm not sure. And by 9:30 or 9:45, the lights suddenly goes out...and then BOOGSH! The video that Charlie Guese made appeared at the screen that was blocking the stage. I'm really sure I saw Ethan and Kyle's silhouettes(sp?) behind the screen.

The first song they performed was Flipside. I think in every show, that's their opening song. I sang along in every song I knew. They sang almost all of their songs in their Modern Minds and Pastimes album except for The Reason Why (I love The Reason Why! "a girl that makes me dream when I'm awake") and Mary Jane. They sang Summertime and So It Goes and they did and acoustic version of I'm Getting Over You (I fell in love more with that song in that version :D) and when it was time for Long Way To Go, I was singing like crazy and I swear Ethan smiled at me while he was singing the back up vocals "I can't help thinking 'bout if I'd be better without you" (I knew he could see us cause all of the people in front of us and behind us were seated and calm, so he smiled a couple of times at us :"> (Alex Huang, be jealous >:) )) when Alex was screaming "Ben!!" and Ciara was looking at Kyle while singing.They also sang new songs like There You Are written by Ben, Pump it Up, and Don't Let Me Go by Ethan (E-tan! Lol). They also sang Good Day, Just the Girl and Catch Your Wave, all from their old album, Greetings From Imrie House. I noticed that there were a lot of people standing in front of the stage. The guys stopped playing for almost 5 mins or so so I took this chance to go in front but then this bouncer told me that I wasn't allowed to go there so I was like "Then why are there people in front?" and then he was like "VIP po yan" and then I told him "I'm also on VIP." and I showed him my ticket and then he told me that our place was called patron. O.O Boardies who are reading this, diba VIP tickets yung nabili natin?! and then the bouncer told me that "mga kamag anak po yan ng araneta. Sponsors po yan" and then I was like, OKAY! :|. I stormed off to my seat just in time to watch them again. I was really pissed off :( But then I didn't let that certain bouncer pop my happy bubble. Good thing Ethan smiled at us again, so that made my mood better. But then, these people in front of us stood up and one or two of them were like so huge! (when I mean huge, she was wide and tall) So there was like less chance of seeing Joey :( or Joey seeing us. Oh well, life goes on. I took a lot of pictures still eventhough there were "barricades" in front of us. When it was time for Headlight Disco, these "barricades" became smaller, I don't know why. Was it me or did they become smaller? Nevermind. When second chorus came, Ciara and I jumped and then when the last chorus came, Alex joined us. "Uh uh uh oh to a headlight disco..(Headlight disco)" Hmm..I could always do the sexy vocals for "Headlight disco, keep your eyes on the road. Headlight disco" so I was wondering why The Click Five boys didn't pick me to do that. :| Lol, anyway..The guys threw their pics to the crowd and then Joey gave his drumsticks to different people. People who know me knows that I want those drumsticks so bad so I felt really really bad when other people got it. :(

So the concert ended at almost 12 midnight and honestly, I was sweating with all of the jumping and singing along that I did. I was disappointed because I didn't get one of those drumsticks. We were halfway to the door when I told Alex and Ciara that we should go back to the stage to check out if they left stuff like water bottles and pics. So we went and then I saw 2 water bottles and a can of beer that I knew was Ethan's (cause it was placed where he was positioned) and I was politely yelling at the bouncer "Yung water bottle! Yung water bottle!" I wanted to ask for the beer but then I knew he wouldn't give it to me. It seems like he was fooling around so he dropped the water bottle on Ciara's shoulder. Btw, Ciara doesn't care about Ethan's water bottle that's why she didn't bother picking it up :| She was asking for Kyle's water bottle so yeah... She didn't get it. Okay, back to my story. So he dropped the water bottle on her shoulder and I dived for it and then when I looked at the floor, it was gone. So I stood up and decided that I should start walking but then I kicked something and then...VOILA! IT WAS THE WATERBOTTLE!! Obviously, I took it...FAST! So that no one will snatch it away from me again >:) BWAHAHA!! And then there were personally autographed posters being sold outside so I was like.."Hey! I didn't see those earlier! >:|" so I approached the woman quickly and asked if I could exchange my poster for an autographed one and she said yes so I just added some money and then I got the autographed poster already!! :D

TODAY - Miss You Now - Eric Dill

Issa sent me a mp3 of Eric's new song.

SAD. :( Strange, i missed him since this morning. And when I heard this song, I missed him more. But when I watched "Say Goodnight", I felt like crying already. Still, I was happy. Because if he didn't leave the band, I wouldn't have known Kyle. Now, I'm not saying that I don't like Eric, but if it's possible that there would be two lead singers for click, I'd totally love that. But then, it's "The Click Five" and it says five so it's not mathematically possible if there would be six guys in the band and the name is for five members. LOL.
